Design and Construct Sewer Pumping Station at Somersby Water Treatment Plant

Client Organisation: Central Coast Council
Date completed: November 2018
Project Duration: 7 months
Project Value: $750k

Rivers Constructions was engaged to provide the design and construction of a new wastewater pump station including the gravity main connections, rising main connections, electrical plinth, hardstand areas and landscaping. The proposal was for a smaller diameter bottom section of the wet well for normal operation levels which then stepped out to a larger wet well diameter top section to meet the minimum wet weather storage capacity requirements.

Rivers Constructions engaged RGH Consulting Engineers to complete the detailed structural design.

The project was completed on time and budget and without incident to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

Rivers Constructions maintained a healthy working relationship with the Water Treatment Plant’s operational staff during the course of the project and have completed more projects at the site since.
