This project involved the design and construction of a new bypass pit at the Woy Woy Major Sewage Pumping Station in Railway Street, a critical regional wastewater asset servicing numerous upstream catchments across the Peninsula. Major deliverables included a reinforced concrete bypass pit, large-diameter DN883 and DN300 bypass pipework, gate and reflux valves, stainless steel access ladders, aluminium access hatches, safety handrails and davit systems, drainage sump infrastructure, associated civil works and rising main modifications to enable future large-scale pump station upgrades and bypass pumping operations.
